Suve šljive se sve češće koriste i za pripremu slanih jela, naročito u kombinaciji sa svinjetinom, junetinom i, posebno, pilećim mesom. Meso se može puniti ili obložiti suvim šljivama, a kod dinstanog mesa se mogu dodati u sastav sosa čime dobija posebnu punoću i aromu.

Priprema
Suve šljive urolovati u slaninu i pričvrstiti čačkalicom. Ražnjiće peći na zagrejanom ulju dok ne postanu hrskavi. Zelenu salatu iseći na manje komade, kruške na kocke i luk na kolutove. Staviti u činiju, preliti limunovim sokom i promešati. Servirati salatu na tanjir, preliti dresingom od ulja, sirćeta, soli i bibera. Preko salate poređati ražnjiće od suvih šljiva i poslužiti.
